For many of us, sparking our motivation to change, or to see ourselves in a new way, takes being energized by a fresh perspective into the way we do things. Astrology is a powerful way to feel inspired to investigate new ways of approaching your life. My astrological readings help you reconnect with your creative self and find ways to shift unhealthy habits or old ways of being that no longer work. When we feel lit from within we can start to make changes because we feel connected to a new vision of how we can channel and share our vitality out in the world. 

For some an astrology reading can bring great relief.  By sharing concerns, worries or insecurities, we can get curious about what your astrological chart says about soothing and supporting those parts of yourself that may be feeling awkward or upset. A reading can help you understand where your time and energy will be most received as well as those areas where you may need to apply patience. Seeing your life through the eye of your astrological chart can also confirm life choices while adding color and bounce that you may have not imagined. When we sparkle within, we feel excitement about our life, our relationships and what we can build.

What Makes My Readings Different

My astrology readings are full of warmth, attentive listening and discussion. I bring to our meeting 20 years of experience as an astrologer, over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist and over 15 years of experience as a dharma practitioner.  

This combination of training gives my readings a depth that goes beyond prediction or personality description. Because I am also a licensed psychotherapist, I bring a clinical understanding of human psychology, attachment patterns, family dynamics, and emotional development to the way I read a chart. And because I am a long-time contemplative practitioner and educator in Buddhist psychology, I hold the chart within a larger framework of growth, compassion, and awakening — not as a fixed map of who you are, but as a living portrait of your potential and the rhythms of your unfolding.

This means that when we look at the aspects of your chart together we do so with the same curiosity and compassion that I bring to my therapeutic work. I hold the chart as a doorway into deeper self-understanding, creative possibility, and wise timing for the decisions you are facing.

Types of Astrology Readings

Natal Chart Reading ($350) — A comprehensive exploration of your birth chart. We look at the core themes of your life — your identity, emotional world, relationships, vocation, creativity, family patterns, and spiritual path — as reflected in the unique arrangement of planets and signs at the time of your birth. This is the best starting point if you have never had an astrological reading or if you are coming to me for astrology for the first time.

Transit Reading ($275) — A follow-up reading for clients who have already had a natal chart reading with me. We look at the current planetary transits and how they are activating your birth chart, offering insight into the themes, opportunities, and challenges of the period you are moving through. Transit readings are especially helpful when you are navigating major life transitions — career changes, relationship shifts, midlife passages, creative projects, or periods of uncertainty where you are looking for a larger perspective on what is unfolding.

How to Book a Reading

To give you your reading I will request that you email me your date, exact time of birth (or as close as possible) and place of birth (city, state, country). Once I have your birth information, we can schedule a time for the reading. Readings are available via video conference.

Frequently Asked Questions About My Astrology Readings

I have never had an astrology reading before. What should I expect? An astrology reading with me is a warm, conversational experience — not a lecture. I will walk you through the key themes of your chart, but there is plenty of room for questions, discussion, and exploring whatever is most alive for you. Many first-time clients are surprised by how specific and resonant the reading feels. You do not need to know anything about astrology beforehand.

What is the difference between a natal chart reading and a transit reading? A natal chart reading is a deep exploration of your birth chart — the foundational patterns, strengths, vulnerabilities, and life themes that are uniquely yours. A transit reading looks at what is happening in the sky right now and how those planetary movements are interacting with your birth chart. Think of it this way: the natal chart is the story of who you are, and the transits are the chapter you are living through right now.

How is a reading with a psychotherapist-astrologer different from other readings? My training as a psychotherapist means that I bring a clinical understanding of emotional development, attachment, family systems, and trauma to the way I interpret a chart. I am attuned to the psychological depth of what the chart reveals, not just the surface-level descriptions. My background in contemplative psychology and Buddhist practice also means I hold the chart within a larger framework of growth and meaning-making, rather than treating it as a fixed picture.

Can astrology help with a specific decision I am facing? Yes. Many clients come for a transit reading when they are facing a significant decision — about a relationship, a career move, a creative project, a relocation, or a life transition. Astrology does not make decisions for you, but it can offer a wider lens on the timing, the themes at play, and the parts of yourself that are being called forward. Many people find this perspective deeply clarifying.

Do I need to know my exact birth time? An exact birth time allows me to calculate your full chart, including your rising sign and house placements, which adds significant depth and specificity to the reading. If you do not know your exact time, we can still do a meaningful reading, I will just need to ask a few more questions during the reading to get a picture of certain areas of your chart. I encourage you to check your birth certificate or ask family members, as even an approximate time is helpful.
